Foremost has an immediate opening for full-time Machinist Apprentice located at our facility in Calgary, Alberta for the day shift. This position will work with the Lead Hand, Charge Hand and Foremen to ensure continuous improvements and perform tasks relating to his/her classifications.

**Responsibilities**:

- Works with mínimal direction to most drawings, sketches, and/or verbal instructions
- Required to operate most of the Machine Shop (CNC and conventional) equipment and performs machining functions for vehicles or rigs or part thereof
- Perform work in their respective trades utilizing skills and equipment required
- Maintain a set of tools to perform machining functions
- Perform other tasks related to his/her classification

**Qualifications**:

- Must be a Registered Apprentice
- Expect to attain Journeyman status within five (5) years of registration
- Experience an asset
- Hand tools required
- Safety Training an asset, but will train as required

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Calgary, AB T2E 8P9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Alberta apprentice (required)
