**Job Summary**
- Lead a team of diverse trades to meet daily goals
- Plan, schedule, and assign daily tasks to the team and set day-to-day operational objectives
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives on current systems and processes to solve recurring issues and improve on the effectiveness of the team
- Assess and maintain a high quality of work
- Work closely with engineers and supply chain teams to achieve objectives
- Schedule additional services with sub-trades
- Ensure safe practices are being followed and safe conditions exist in the work area
- Perform hands-on repairs - high quality workmanship at a productive and efficient pace; with mínimal disruption to the homeowner
- Prepare materials required and plan service work prior to visiting homeowners’ units
- Review work orders on a proactive and daily basis
- Ensure client satisfaction is achieved in all facets, at all times
- Provide feedback to management regarding quality issues and areas where improvements can be made in the construction finishing process
- Complete repairs as per building audits, interpret and address deficiencies as identified by Engineer Report
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential and commercial projects
- Extensive knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written; ability to explain procedures and warranty guidelines/rulings
- Customer service skills - professional presentation, reliable, accountable with good conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to develop a constructive and helpful working relationship with homeowners
- Enjoy working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment, as well as working independently
- Ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations
- Multitasking - ability to work on various projects simultaneously
- Excellent organizational skills, time management skills and demonstrated attention to detail
- Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in multiple trades functions such as carpentry, drywall, painting, etc. is a requirement, as is knowledge of various tools and equipment
- College Diploma or equivalent work experience
- 8 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role
- Experience in scheduling, resource allocation and priority planning towards deadlines
- An understanding of basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching, and process execution
- Some experience with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Provide own tools
- Valid G license with flexibility and willingness to to travel daily to assigned sites throughout the GTA
