We are looking for a compassionate and capable Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technician / Admin to create a supportive TMS treatment experience for our patients. POSITION ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer TMS treatments according to specific evidence based protocols. Set up the TMS medical device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.
- Provide excellent patient care and treat patients with compassion while developing trust and rapport. Provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to patients struggling with depression and/or anxiety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS system setup throughout treatment.
- Administer psychiatric rating scales and conduct patient assessments prior to and after treatment
- Record session notes in EHR, collaborate with physician(s) as required, conduct patient consultations, and patient discharge consultations.
- Communicate with team of TMS psychiatrist and team members who oversee patient treatment.
This is a growth position also to cover vacations and holiday. You will know in advance so the hrs and days are flexible.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least one year of experience working in mental health setting
- Successful completion of TMS training (training and certification provided during initial period of employment).
- Experience working with patients who are suffering from anxiety and depression preferred.
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor, and interface compassionately and appropriately with patients in a mental-health setting required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
- Excellent work ethic, and willingness and desire to learn required
