Mid-East Food Center is a family owned international supermarket that embodies a variety of cultural cuisines and products from all over the world. We are looking to hire an experienced bakery manager to supervise our baking staff and manage all bakery and customer service operations.

Bakery managers supervise baking staff and ensure that all bakery operations run smoothly. They take inventory of baking supplies, resolve customer complaints, and address poor staff performance.

Responsibilities include:

- Ensuring that the bakery is adequately stocked with quality baking ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain and control inventory of baked items.
- Developing and implementing advertising and marketing strategies to attract new customers.
- Strategically arranging bakery items in display cases to encourage customer purchases.
- Replenish food items according to the customers demand and needs.
- Inspecting bakery items to ensure that established standards on quality, uniformity, and aesthetic appeal are met.
- Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner
- Coordinate with stores manager and other bakery staff in serving customers
- Ensure freshness of all bakery items and food in a bakery.
- Greet customers and provide quality personalized service.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery premises.
- Determining customer requirements and proposing catering options.
- Negotiating prices and preparing meticulous catering order forms.
- Planning menus and taking customer orders
- Requirements include:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- More education or experience may be preferred.
- Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills.
- Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products.
- Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create amazing baked goods.
- Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability.
- Ability to work in hot, hectic environment, stand, walk, bend, use hands and appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
