Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Electrical Technician to join our team. As a Junior Electrical Technician, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This is an entry-level position that offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in the electrical field.

**Duties**:

- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
- Follow electrical schematics and diagrams to detect and diagnose issues
- Perform mechanical tasks such as assembling components and troubleshooting mechanical systems
- Support industrial maintenance activities as needed
- Collaborate with senior technicians to complete projects on time and within budget
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Work with crew to complete electrical projects on time and within high quality standards.
- Promote, lead, and enforce safety compliance throughout job site.
- Estimate time, materials and equipment required to complete tasks
- Plan and organize tasks and materials for work projects and activities
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to crew members
- Supervise and train associates on the job, as required
- Prepare and submit reports and documentation as requested
- Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean ---- Report any safety and quality issues to management
- Other related duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years of electrical experience
- Post-secondary related education is an asset
- Experience with manufacturing management software would be considered an asset
- Understand OHSA plus safety regulations and lead by example
- Great organizational and time management skills to lead, schedule and coordinate a team to complete multiple tasks
- Outstanding people and communication skills to inspire, motivate and persuade their team in meeting all company goals
- Able to supervise others’ work and coach for performance
- Good problem solving, equipment maintenance and assembling skills
- Able to work in high pressure and time sensitive conditions
- Attention to detail with a well-rounded work ethic and positive attitude
- Able to work and communicate effectively with cross functional team members
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage wiring
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
- Mechanical knowledge to assist with assembly and troubleshooting tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues
- Customer service-oriented mindset

**Salary**: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
