Maple Ridge, Canada Vanilla Bean Bake Shop Full time

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years Experience in face to face customer service.
- Barista experience an asset but not a requirement.
- Familiar with cakes, cupcakes, sweets and savories of all types.
- Ability to be a critical thinker and adapt to a changing environment.
- Ability to work with and provide service to multiple personality types.
- Extreme attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Willingness to provide thorough details and clearly describe our products to our customers, including ingredients and how items are made.
- Work alongside your team to keep the bakery clean, and contribute to a great customer experience.
- Exceptional hygiene and cleanliness. Clean shaven, well groomed, hair clean pulled back, clean hands and finger nails.
- Food Safety Certification Level 1 (or willingness to obtain before hire)

- Ability to leave cell phone alone/in locker and not be distracted by outside influences.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Continuous standing/walking for all tasks
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 22 kg
- Frequent turning and reaching
- Handling HOT items and being around hot pieces of equipment
- Occasional pushing, pulling and some forward bending
- Ability to lift at least 2.5 kg to a height of 1.7 metres
- Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping
