**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions focused on test preparation for various standardized assessments.
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to the unique learning needs of each student.
- Assess students' strengths and weaknesses in Biology, providing targeted instruction to improve their skills.
- Utilize effective teaching methods and educational resources to enhance student understanding and retention of material.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them stay motivated and on track.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to support the overall learning experience of students.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters student engagement and confidence.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly in a classroom setting or special education environment, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of test preparation strategies and familiarity with standardized testing formats.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.
- Experience working with children of varying ages and learning abilities is highly desirable.
- A patient, adaptable approach to teaching that accommodates different learning styles.
- A commitment to fostering a supportive educational atmosphere that encourages student growth.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 2 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
