**How You Will Make an Impact**

Observe all health and safety rules and work in compliance with the provisions of the occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations

**What You'll Bring to Our Team**
- Current enrolment in a post-secondary program in Social Services, Administration or related field in a recognized University/College
- Experience working or assisting in public relations or outreach is an asset
- Strong computer and literacy skills
- Maintain confidential records, manage data and prepare correspondence and reports in a timely and precise manner is essential
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent communication, team building, negotiating and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in French and/or a language in addition to English is an asset
- Meet all of the guidelines set out by the Government for the Canadian Summer Jobs Program

**Hiring Criteria - the following criteria is established by Canada Summer Job**:
This temporary full-time position is funded by Service Canada for youth between the ages of 15 to 30 years of age.
- Applicants may be more than 30 years of age at the end of the employment period as long as they were 30 at the beginning of the employment period.
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
- ** As per the Summer Canada Jobs Program criteria**:

- International students are not eligible participants. International students include anyone who is temporarily in Canada for studies and who is not a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.
- Youth awaiting a refugee status ruling, as well as those who hold a temporary visitor visa, youth visa or work visa are ineligible.
