Looking for EXCEPTIONAL SEWING MACHINE OPERATORS/SAMPLE SEWERS

Position Overview
- 5 years + experience in the fashion industry.
- Industrial sewing experience is essential; the ability to use various industrial sewing machines is essential including single needle lock stitch and blind stitch, serge machines, button hole makers, zig/zag machines ;
- Must know how to work with various types of materials
- Able to speak and understand English in order to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
- Able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable with a good attendance record and afocus on punctuality.
- Able to work extended hours as required to meet business demands.
- Helping to produce high end goods such as dresses, jackets and coats according to the high standards of quality
- Assessing the quality of garment pieces before sewing to ensure garments are up to quality standards.
- Participating in the sewing process as part of a team to ensure all work is completed in accordance with quality standards, delivery schedules and safety requirements.
- Ensuring individuals and team productivity quotas are met or exceeded on a daily basis.

**Salary**: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M6M2Y6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sewing: 4 years (preferred)
