Key Responsibilities:

  • Sewing and Assembly: Operate sewing machines to stitch fabric, textiles, and other materials according to specifications, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Pattern and Instruction Adherence: Follow patterns, templates, and instructions precisely to achieve the desired outcome for each product.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished items for quality and ensure there are no defects, making any necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs to the supervisor.
  • Inventory and Materials: Monitor fabric and thread supplies, report shortages, and assist with organizing materials.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines for sewing machine operation, including wearing protective equipment as required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Sewing Machine Operator or similar role in a textile or manufacturing environment.
