We invite you to join our team if you love the restoration industry and thrive in a supportive environment. **Position**: Water Damage Reconstruction Technician **Key Responsibilities**: - Assist with restoring residential and commercial properties back to their regular function - Understand techniques for proper installation of insulation to improve energy efficiency and maintain climate control - Ability to install drywall including mudding, taping, and finishing to achieve a smooth and seamless surface - Knowledge of laying various types of flooring, such as hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet, ensuring precision and durability - Perform framing work and align all structural features such as trusses - Proficient in painting and finishing to guarantee a polished and aesthetically pleasing final appearance - Attend onsite meetings as required and establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders - Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures - Knowledge of insurance protocols and claims processes - Experience working in multi-unit settings with strong knowledge of property management protocols - Ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted and work in tight spaces - Professional communication skills and stellar organization and documentation abilities - Commitment to creating and working in a clean, safe environment - Valid driver's license and clean criminal record **You'll Love This Job If**: - You have a high level of attention to detail and excel in fast-paced environments - You have a "get the job done" attitude and are ready and willing to find answers, whether you need to google it, phone a friend, or collaborate with another team member - You view this position as a long-term career opportunity - You love craftsmanship and physical labor and find fulfillment in hands-on work **What's in it for you?** - Competitive above-industry standard hourly wage. - Comprehensive training and ongoing support to enhance your skills - Opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company - Benefits (Medical, Dental) **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday - On call - Overtime - Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: - Edmonton, AB T5V 0A2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - reconstruction: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
