**We are currently looking to hire a Restoration Technician to join our team** **Position Title**: Restoration Technician We are seeking a motivated and reliable **Restoration Technician** to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in helping customers recover from property damage by performing cleanup, demolition, and restoration work. Grimebusters Ltd. is a family owned and operated cleaning, restoration and reconstruction company that thrives on helping people with care, honesty and top-quality work. **Position Type**: Full Time **THIS IS FOR YOU IF YOU ARE**: - Trustworthy, honest, respectful and reliable - Calm, positive, and have a solution-oriented attitude in all situations - Committed to personal excellence, driven to succeed with a "can do" attitude - Curious, collaborative, passionate and detail oriented - A lifelong learner motivated to continue to learn and grow **Description of Duties**: - Respond to water, fire, mold, and storm damage emergencies - Extract water, remove damaged materials, and perform structural drying - Set up proper containment and negative air pressure systems - Use equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, negative airs, and moisture meters - Perform demolition and cleaning tasks as needed - Record detailed job notes, photos, and moisture readings - Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards - Communicate effectively with customers and team members - Participate in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies - Customer relations - 40 Hours/ week - Monday - Friday 8-4:30 pm **SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS**: - Current Class 5 Drivers License & Clean Driving Record - Currently have 3 years of consistent driving insurance - Clean Criminal Record - Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and wear PPE - Strong work ethic and attention to detail - Excellent customer service and communication skills - IICRC certification(s) (Water Restoration Technician, etc.) is a plus - Experience in restoration or construction is preferred **COMPENSATION**: - Competitive wages - Group benefits plan (extended health and dental - after 90 days) - 9 paid statutory holidays - Work with a close-knit team of professionals that love what they do If this sounds like you and you feel ready to take on an awesome new adventure, connect today and let us know why you’d be a great fit for the team.
