**YOUR MISSIONS**:
Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting Canada, the incumbent will actively participate in the monthly closing process and will perform analyzes and reconciliations for various balance sheet and results items, in addition to working on continuous improvement projects related to finance and to accounting. The incumbent must be able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change, in addition to possessing good teamwork, interpersonal and leadership skills.

THE ROLE:

- Participate in the monthly closing process, including among others:

- Reconciliations of intercompany transactions and balances;
- Calculation and recording of accounting provisions and accrued expenses;
- Valuation and accounting of inventories and inventory provisions;
- Monitoring and accounting of stocks in transit;
- Preparation of consumption tax returns;
- Accounting and analysis of interest expense;
- Accounting and analysis of transactions related to leases (IFRS 16);
- Exchange gain/loss analysis
- Prepare and record journal entries;
- Ongoing monitoring and management of leases within the framework of IFRS 16;
- Revise and analyze the balance sheet accounts and certain profit and loss accounts;
- Produce various accounting and management reports;
- Involvement in the budget review and forecast process;
- Participate and assist in the management of audit processes (external and internal).

**YOUR PROFILE**:
PROFILE:

- Ideally 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or finance / Accounting designation (an asset);
- Very good knowledge of IFRS accounting standards;
- Knowledge of taxation and consumption taxes (an asset);
- Proficiency in Excel; good knowledge of the Google and/or Microsoft suite;
- Knowledge of the manufacturing and agri-food sector (an asset);
- Knowledge of Bluebee, Coupa and Qlik systems (an asset);
- Proficiency in French, functional English;
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
- Good ability to adapt to change and learn quickly;
- Sense of priorities, autonomy, initiative and proactivity.
