Your future role on our team

By joining our team as a junior engineer or technician, you’ll participate in engineering mandates in automation, instrumentation and control. Your role will be to contribute to various phases of engineering and site work. You may also be asked to help prepare proposals, select technologies and propose solutions to clients.

Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with clients
Listen to clients and meet their high expectations
Help define the scope of projects and proposals
Help develop various deliverables and review them
Assess the technical scope of projects
Coordinate the execution of onsite work by contractors
Supervise technical work, ensuring compliance with client OHS standards
Help with commissioning

Technical component

Prepare plans and specifications as well as detailed engineering deliverables, location drawings, I/O, loop and motor control diagrams, lists of cables and instruments and installation details
Draft reports, plans and specifications, construction and purchasing specifications, and calls for tenders
Prepare technical data sheets and select instruments (flow, pressure, level) and control valves
Provide technical assistance during construction work (electrical/instrumentation)
Perform inspections or technical surveys

Client service

Interact with clients and provide technical support to the team in charge of business development
Establish and maintain contact with clients
Define client needs and identify new needs during projects
Participate in commercial and technical proposal preparation

Rigour and ethical

Overview of certifications and job requirements

Diploma in Industrial Electronics Technology or equivalent
Four years or less of relevant experience
Experience in instrumentation and control design
Regular presence at a client’s site to carry out work

**Asset**: bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written

**Asset**: interest or relevant experience in Automation and Instrumentation; participation in detailed engineering of a project in the mining or energy sectors
