We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to assist in the design, installation, configuration, and upkeep of Camis' network infrastructure. As the Network Administrator, you will play an important role in ensuring seamless operations by utilizing your extensive technical expertise in network administration. Your outstanding collaboration skills, problem-solving abilities, and dedication to staying abreast of cutting-edge networking technologies, trends, and security threats will be invaluable assets in this position. Working closely with our talented team, you will engage with individuals from various departments within Camis to guarantee the optimal functioning of our infrastructure.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's computer networks and supporting systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including hardware or software failures, outages and security breaches.
- Manage the corporate network by configuring and maintaining switches, firewalls, VPNs and other network technologies.
- Collaborate with IT staff and other departments to identify and resolve network-related issues.
- Implement approved network changes using a formal change management process.
- Assist with supporting IT infrastructure such as software, appliances, servers or virtual machines.
- Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, inventory, and configurations.
- Collect and provide evidence to assist with annual security audits, as well as contribute to penetration and segmentation testing.
- Install and maintain network cabling and other physical network components.
- Assist with maintaining disaster recovery plans and perform regular backups of network devices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide remote support for various internal and external systems.
**What you will bring to the role**:
- Completion of a college or other program in computer science, network administration, web technology or a related field is preferred.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, PCNSA, JNCIA, CISA, PCI ISA, or PCIP are considered an assets
- Strong understanding of the OSI model, network technologies, topologies, concepts, protocols, and standards
- Experience in configuring and managing network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools such as SSH, SNMP, Syslog, Splunk, ELK Stacks, NetFlow, PRTG, Cacti, Nagios, REST & XML APIs, etc.
- Familiarity with operating systems and virtualization technologies like VMWare ESXi, Citrix, Hyper-V, Windows Server, and Linux (CentOS)
- Understanding of cloud computing infrastructure and technology, specifically Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud, etc.
- Ability to collect and analyze packet captures using tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, and understanding of frame & packet structures
- Familiarity with security tools and penetration testing methods, including nmap, Tenable, CVEs, SSL/TLS versions, and cipher suites
- Knowledge of change management practices and procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex IT matters to non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork and communication across various departments within the organization.
- Experience working with PCI compliant solutions and SOC audit reporting
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- A valid passport or Advanced Driver's License with no restrictions would be beneficial.

Hybrid position - in-office attendance is required 2 days per week (Mondays and Thursdays), employees have the option to work remotely 3 days per week.
