**Overview**

**Duties**:

- Support dentists and hygienists during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Manage patient records using AbelDENT or similar software
- Schedule appointments by doing recalls when needed
- Assist with orthodontic procedures and pediatric dentistry
- Utilize medical terminology accurately
- Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems

**Requirements**:

- Completion of a dental assisting program or relevant certification (Preferably CDA Level II)
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- HARP certification is a must
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Job Type**: Part-time
