Utility Construction Labourers

Calgary, Canada Rahcar Power Corp. Full time

RAHCAR Power Corp. Is a growing company in the Utility Construction and Maintenance Industry. We are looking for two to four highly-motivated individuals to join our team as a **Powerline Construction Labourers**, based out of Calgary Alberta.

You will be working with a team assisting with the construction of shallow utilities in new developments in Calgary and surrounding areas.

**Responsibilities**:

- Comply with company policies, ensure safe and productive completion of tasks.
- Assist with the duties related to the installation of underground power, gas, and communication facilities.
- Operation and general maintenance of equipment/vehicles.
- Operate manual and power tools.
- Ensure that work areas remain clean and well organized.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Valid class 5 driver’s license.
- Strong safety focus.
- Excellent interpersonal, team participation and communication skills.
- Local to Calgary area or able to relocate prior to beginning position.
- Must be able to comfortably perform physical tasks (lifting 50 pounds, pulling cable etc) and able to work in all weather conditions.

**A few qualifications that would help you succeed**:

- Valid class 1 or 3 driver’s license is an asset.
- Experience running heavy equipment (excavator/back-hoe).
- A passion for your work and a drive for excellence.
- Standard First Aid
- Willingness to travel on occasion if required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
