**Position Summary**:
John Bear Buick Chevrolet GMC Cadillac is seeking a **Service Manager** for our Hamilton dealership. The successful incumbent will act as a primary point of contact for the Service Advisors and service customers, ensuring that an exceptional client experience is delivered to customers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead a successful Service Advisor team comprised of Service Advisors and Express Lane Advisor, from recruitment, through to management, motivation, development, and retention
- Implement corporate processes and standards to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations
- Instill John Bear loyalty by ensuring an exceptional experience for all customers
- Handle and resolve escalated customer complaints
- Liaise with DBC and attend meetings
- Actively manage and improve on all measured performance indicators, including gross sales, profitability, loyalty, CSI
- Prepare, administer and adhere to annual operating budgets
- Keep up to date in training by completing all John Bear and any relevant sales/customer service-related training and ensure the same for all staff
- Oversee administration of warranty claims in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Execute service, promotional campaigns
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Ensures that facility, work areas and customer-facing areas are kept clean and well-maintained, at all times
**Qualifications**:
- A minimum of 5 years of service department experience with a proven track record in customer satisfaction
- College Diploma or Trade School Certificate in Automotive Studies, or equivalent
- GM experience an asset
- Valid Driver’s License, clean driver’s abstract/record
- Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to handle and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills

Pay: Potential to earn $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year (salary plus monthly bonus opportunities).
