Cabinet Delivery Driver

_Overall Responsibility:_

The Delivery Driver is responsible for loading and unloading cabinet components. Deliver from Adora’s manufacturing location to multiple locations in a safe and timely manner (ability to lift, carry and place heavy items).
- Key Areas of Responsibility:_
- Provide all customers with friendly and helpful service
- Coordination with production team to schedule daily deliveries
- Responsible for the proper care and handling of the finished product
- Load cabinet components required for delivery into truck
- (required to lift, carry and place heavy items)
- Drive delivery vehicle to and from destinations, adhering to all traffic laws
- Unload cabinet components for installations in the appropriate rooms (per work orders)
- (required to lift, carry and place heavy items)
- Required to work in the shop as directed (i.e. when there is not enough delivery work available)
- Responsible for the operation and daily maintenance of vehicles
- Maintain vehicles in clean and fueled readiness condition
- Skills and Attributes:_
- Familiarity of Lethbridge and surrounding areas and able to read maps / guides
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with clean drivers abstract and excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws

- Experience:_
- Handling finished Cabinets / products (an asset)
- Previous experience as a delivery driver
- Training:_
- First Aid (provided)
- C.O.R Safety (provided)
- WHIMIS (provided)
- Self-motivated on learning more about the industry
- Working Conditions:_
- Variable working environment as work is conducted both indoors and outdoors with varying environmental conditions.
- Exposure to the environments of customer facilities.
- Frequent lifting of objects up to 75lbs.
- Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
- Exposure to chemical fumes, and airborne particles such as dust, stains and lacquers. (personal protective equipment provided)
