**Responsibilities**
- Build effective relationships with associates, peers and supervisor to develop a high performing team
- Analyze reporting and business trends to make strategic decisions to drive results
- Directly supervise the business, ensuring, and maintaining high quality standards
- Consistently assess and provide ongoing performance feedback to all levels of team members
- Hiring and training of all key staff members
- Ownership of inventory process and a keen knowledge of current inventory and incoming styles.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- 2+ years' of retail or equivalent management experience
- Strong verbal or written communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holiday availability
- Highly collaborative; working with and through others in a team-oriented environment
- Has a strong understanding of current and emerging trends in fashion
- Possesses broad range of product knowledge across all merchandise categories in the store
- Takes initiative to stay informed on new merchandise deliveries across all commodities to maximize selling potential
- Operates with a team mentality (plays well with others), has a can-do attitude,

**The measures of success**:

- Ownership of and contribution to financial objectives
- Leads team to meet financial objectives linked to the achievement of department goals
- Feedback from internal and external stakeholders

**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Oakville, ON L6J 1J3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail management: 2 years (required)
