**Safety Coordinator**

Key responsibilities include:

- Maintaining our COR, ISNetworld, Contractor Check, and other certifications
- Administering orientations & maintaining training records and compliance
- Improving, implementing, and monitoring of our company safety program
- Conducting site inspections, attending safety meetings, committee meetings, etc
- Maintain & analyze safety records & field collaboration using SiteDocs
- WCB Administration, including managing claims, evaluating modified duties, investigating incidents, and managing WCB claims
- Provide WHMIS training
- Risk mitigation
- Meet regularly with client safety personnel
- Attend and often lead meetings
- Assist with fleet management
- Perform internal COR audits, and assist with external audits

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Valid Construction Safety Officer Certificate (preferred)
- Occupational First Aid Level Two or Three preferred or willing to take the course
- Exceptional Communication skills, writing skills (English), people skills, & technical skills.
- Be self-directed and motivated to maintain & improve our program
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and other programs related to your field
- Knowledge of the construction industry, specifically the electrical trade and electrical safety, would be an asset

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lethbridge, AB T1H 5H8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
