**Responsibilities**:
Under direction from the Quality Assurance lead:

- Perform quality control inspections of parts and finised assemblies
- Complete related quality inspection documents and maintain good records
- Inspect parts to standards as required
- Participate in problem solving projects related to product and processes
- Participate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production departments on first article sample approval process
- Support continuous improvement projects and assist in the development of process, and work procedures

**Competencies and Qualifications**
- Read, write and speak English, with excellent communication and relationship development skills.
- Software skills required include MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Web based research abilities.
- Familiar with ISO 9001:2008 standards, and quality audit concepts.
- 1 or more years experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control / Inspection Department
- Previous experience utilizing quality-related tools and inspection methods.
- Have the ability to read and interpret procedures and technical drawings, and accurately use basic measuring devices and instruments.
- Must have a quality mind set and an understanding of basic quality principals.
- Solid mathematical and analytical skills are required, with superior attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving skills and be exceptionally Customer focused, responding promptly to customer needs.
- Strong Problem solving background.
- Good attention to detail and a critical eye for identifying defects and subtle color differences.
- Must be energetic, and self-directed in driving change, and be able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
