**Overview**

**Duties**
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling of materials.
- Operate heavy equipment such as order pickers and forklifts to move products within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking tasks, accurately selecting items for shipment based on customer orders.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of shipments against packing lists.
- Maintain organization within the warehouse distribution area to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies as needed.
- Engage in heavy lifting and physical labour as required by the demands of the job.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with equipment operation, including tele-handlers, order pickers and forklifts, is a plus.
- Strong ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 60 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Experience with order picking processes and shipping/receiving procedures is advantageous.
- Knowledge of warehouse management and effective inventory tracking.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols in a busy environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
