**Full Job Description**

MTG Healthcare Academy is actively seeking an experienced **Registered Massage Therapist**, interested in joining the **Edmonton Campus** team to be a Massage Therapy Clinical Instructor that will translate the theories in books into real-life skills for the Massage Therapy Students.

**Primary Responsibility**:

- Instructing and evaluating students on proper massage therapy and assessment skills, including ROM, gait/postural analysis, and special testing before, during and after their clinic treatments.
- Providing advice and guidance for students before, during and after their massage therapy treatments within the scope of a RMT's practice, specifically: Massage Therapy, Assessment, and Remedial/Therapeutic Exercises.
- Organizing and executing all term clinical orientations, schedules and events. Also includes reviewing/marking student's SOAP notes, and recording all monthly and term student evaluations.

**Qualifications**:

- Registered as a Massage Therapist in Good Standing with the provincial regulatory body (ex. TC-CMTA).
- Massage Therapy diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of practical work experience as a Registered Massage Therapist.
- Minimum of 12 months of Adult education and teaching experience.
- Updated CEU (Continuing Education Units)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and use of the Internet.
- Good understanding of Adult Learning Principles is preferred.
- Can work well with the instructors teaching the theories according to the school's curriculum

**Hours of Work**:
This is a part-time on-going position

MTG Healthcare Academy started in Calgary in 2011 as a private career college with Health Care Aide as its main program offered. It later expanded to three campuses in Alberta: Calgary, Red Deer and Edmonton.

Presently, MTG Healthcare Academy has added its Health & Wellness Division and currently offering Massage Therapy Diploma Program, Advanced Massage Therapy Diploma Program and Developmental Service Worker Diploma Program.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

**Salary**: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
