We are an import Automotive Dealership in Winnipeg Manitoba looking for an experienced back counter parts person with min of 7 years experience in automotive parts.
**Position Overview**
The Parts person is responsible for providing exceptional service by supplying parts to Technicians and customers. This will require determining the customer’s needs through parts identification and effective communication. You will use electronic catalogs to locate and provide pricing for creating quotes and repair estimates as well as invoicing of parts to customers and charging them out on work orders for technicians
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Shop / Technician focused with strong interpersonal skills
- professional attitude towards technicians, staff and customers
- professional in appearance
- willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction in all areas
- Receive parts requests from technicians as well from customers in person at sales counter and over the phone
- Sourcing and ordering parts from internal and external sources
- Troubleshooting and problem solving to determine customer needs
- Picking parts for technicians
- Receiving parts required for technicians
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional work area at all times
**Qualifications**
- Counter sales experience in a parts, retail or a customer service environment would be considered an asset
- Self-Starter who takes the initiative to get things done
- Multi-tasking and time management skills
- mechanical aptitude would be considered an asset
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to develop and maintain relationships
