We’re currently looking for an experienced **Estimator** to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong construction knowledge who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. If you’re ready to be part of projects from the earliest stages and play a key role in their success, we want to hear from you.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Develop accurate estimates for commercial construction projects, including self-performed work and subcontracted scopes
- Conduct detailed reviews of project documents to understand scope, risks, and requirements
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing for materials, labor, and equipment
- Solicit pricing from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive and complete bids
- Participate in estimate reviews and tender closings, assisting with bid submissions
- Support post-tender activities, negotiations, and clarifications as required
- Prepare preliminary budgets, cost plans, and conceptual estimates based on historical data
- Provide value engineering input and assist with project development planning
- Stay adaptable by learning new software and technologies in a changing industry

**What You Bring**:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a construction-related discipline
- Minimum 2+ years of estimating experience (commercial construction experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, plans, and specifications
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze full drawing sets and technical documents
- Proficiency in take-off procedures, subtrade procurement, pricing, and bid preparation
- Excellent phone and written communication skills for clear, professional interactions
- Proven ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks, opportunities, and project impacts
- Comfortable working in-person at our Airdrie office and collaborating with project teams

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
