Plant Manager**
**Salary Range: $115,000 to $140,000**
**Location: Entwistle, AB**

As **Plant Manager **at DRAX, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of the plant, leading a team, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This critical leadership role will drive performance improvements, and operational excellence, and contribute to the business's overall success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** **Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and safety.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Track performance metrics and implement best practices for continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Drive sustainability efforts, supporting Drax’s low-carbon mission.
- Prepare and present reports on plant performance to senior management.
- Maintain a strong focus on sustainability and contribute to DRAX’s mission of delivering low-carbon energy solutions.

**About you**
You'll possess the following skills, abilities, and experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in plant or manufacturing management, preferably in the energy or heavy industrial sector.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience in leading diverse teams.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Experience in managing budgets, resources, and financial performance.
- A commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
