We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pump Operator to join our construction team specializing in Gypsum Floor Underlayment. As a vital member of our workforce, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining pump equipment used in the installation of gypsum floor underlayment systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Equipment Operation**: Operate pump equipment, such as grout pumps or screed pumps, to transfer and distribute gypsum underlayment materials onto designated surfaces. Ensure the proper functioning of the pump machinery throughout the installation process.
- **Surface Preparation**: Work closely with the construction team to prepare the work area for underlayment installation.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating pump equipment. Conduct routine inspections of the pump machinery and associated tools to ensure safe and proper functioning. Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- **Cleanup and Maintenance**: Assist in cleaning and maintaining pump equipment and associated tools after use. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as greasing fittings and changing filters, to keep equipment in optimal condition.

**Requirements**:

- **Pump Operation Experience**: Proven experience operating pump equipment, preferably in a construction or similar industry, is required. Familiarity with grout pumps or screed pumps is highly desirable.
- **Technical Skills**: Ability to operate pump machinery effectively and efficiently, including knowledge of pump controls, troubleshooting techniques, and maintenance procedures.
- **Safety Conscious**: Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures. Knowledge of basic safety protocols related to equipment operation and construction activities.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and maneuvering heavy materials and equipment, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- **Team Player**: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to assist with various tasks as needed.
- **Valid Driver's License**: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
