**Pump Operator**

ICD is currently seeking a Pump Operator to support their growing needs. This position is in located on a remote site with an attractive fourteen (14) day rotation, working twelve (12) hour shifts. This is a fly in fly out from **Calgary and Edmonton**, Camp is provided for your shift. This is a contract position for approximately 4-6 months.

**Some duties required for this position include, but are not limited to**:

- Operate fluid pumps and maintain equipment within the guidelines of the client and company
- Troubleshoot, fix discrepancies, and assist with maintenance of pumps and related equipment
- Properly operate a variety of pumps, controlling fluid levels and pump rates, using standard operating procedures
- Conduct pre-job and post-job inspections, as well as test the coiled tubing units and pumps
- Ability to operate forklift, skid steers, and small loaders
- Participate in company and client worksite Emergency Response Plan (ERP) through drills and/or HSE discussions
- Keep the work area clean and safe
- Complete all forms/reports/permits as required
- Operate a company vehicle to move items
- Able to repeatedly lift twenty-three (23) kilogram (50lbs)
- Participate in Safe Work Practices, including inspecting vehicles, tools, equipment, and PPE
- Always demonstrate safety
- Other duties as requested by the shift supervisor and/or lead(s)
- Comprehensive alcohol and drug test clearance letter
- Copy of valid class 5 driver’s license
- Copy of current clean driver’s abstract

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

- Day shift
- Night shift

**Experience**:

- Pump: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
