- Purify final products
- Test modified renewable polymers for water treatment activity in various treatment streams
- Perform analytical experiments and pilot scale water treatment processes
- Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Support product development by developing and managing release assays, documentation for final product release, and stability testing
- Conduct research to discover, develop, refine, and evaluate new products applied in wastewater treatment
- Interface with technical and non-technical teams
- Ensure safety guidelines are always adhered to within the laboratory and production facilities
**Key Competencies**
- Possess significant work experience particularly with protein purification, recombinant protein expression, and product isolation/manipulation from biological materials
- Strong working knowledge in biochemical analytical methods (protein purification, enzyme reaction modelling and kinetics, size separation, SDS PAGE, chromatography, saccharide separation, and characterization)
