Construction Estimator/ Project Manager

Responsibilities:

- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Utilize industry-standard software and tools to create comprehensive estimates
- Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and make adjustments as necessary
- Provide support to project managers and other team members as needed

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
- Proficient in using estimating software and tools
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Project management experience is a plus

As a Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects. You will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, negotiating pricing with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders will be key to your success in this role. Pay: $34,320.00-$128,647.19 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Toronto, ON M5V 1V1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
