**Job Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team

This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to engage with customers both in-person and over the phone, and daily computer use.

**Duties**
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide tailored product recommendations.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our product offerings, in all areas of flooring, effectively communicate features and benefits.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems, including handling cash or credit card payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that displays are tidy and visually appealing.
- Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when handling calls.
- Provide an inviting environment, and non-invasive interaction to all prospective clients.

**Qualifications**
- Proficiency in English is a must, additional language skills are a plus, but not a requirement
- Strong customer service skills with a proven track record of building rapport with clients.
- Firm grasp of measurement and installation requirements.
- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred, but not necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- A proactive attitude towards selecting items that align with customer needs.
- Ability to work fixed hours, including Saturdays.
- Must have a car and expect site measures on a regular basis.
- Interior design experience also an asset.
- Computer proficiency a must.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 36 per week
