We are currently seeking a **Janitorial Services/Admin Assistant** to join the team in our **Pembrook **location. The Janitorial Services/Admin Assistant will provide support to the Administration department to ensure that the office areas are well cleaned and taken care of, and that any required administrative tasks are complete. This is a hybrid, part-time role and will begin with a few hours of cleaning in the morning, followed by a few hours of administration work.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Cleaning and stock restrooms.
- Ensure doors are locked after hours.
- Cleaning up spills with the appropriate equipment
- Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
- Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer
- Perform other administrative duties as required
- 5 hours/day, 25 hours/week

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 6 months of administrative experience. (Construction or similar industry experience is an asset)
- Minimum 6 months of basic janitorial experience
- Able to work safely, and independently
- Able to multitask with strong time management skills
- Sound problem solving and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Sound computer skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e Word, Outlook, Excel)
