The position consists of 7.5 hours and will be in accordance with the Administrative Assistant school calendar. - The position commences August 21, 2025 and expires June 26, 2026 and the work schedule will be determined by the Principal or designate. Rest periods will be scheduled in accordance with the current collective bargaining agreement. **The duties of an Administrative Assistant are to**: - Greet parents and other visitors in a kind manner. - Receive and forward inquiries to the appropriate staff member. - Effectively create, manipulate, and utilize spreadsheets, word documents and file management. - Operate the public address system and other office equipment. - Work collaboratively with, and under the direction of, the school administration and with other school personnel on a daily basis. - Maintain a positive attitude toward others, their work, school and the division. - Maintain strict confidentiality of all information pertaining to the school. - Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or designate and those listed in Job Description - Administrative Assistant. - Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral). - Acute attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility and the ability to work as a team member. - Knowledge and experience with accounting is an asset, along with the ability to learn quickly, utilize technology, and work collaboratively with others **Salary and Benefits**: - Benefits include participation in the Saskatchewan School Board Association (SSBA) Employee Benefits Plan, the Municipal Employees' Pension Plan (MEPP) and opportunities to attend professional development seminars.
