We are currently seeking vigilant and dedicated Security Guards to join our team in ensuring the safety and security of the beach and nearby motel/guest staying area. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment by patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, and enforcing security policies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Patrol designated areas on foot or vehicle to ensure the safety and security of guests and property.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems to detect and respond to security threats.
- Enforce property rules, regulations, and standards of conduct in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, such as medical emergencies or disturbances, and take appropriate action.
- Provide assistance and support to guests and employees as needed.
- Complete accurate and detailed reports documenting security-related incidents and activities.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Security Guard or relevant position.
- Ability to operate surveillance and security equipment.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Valid Security Guard license.
- Valid G License
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay: $16.55-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wasaga Beach, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Security Guard: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard Licence (preferred)

**Location**:

- Wasaga Beach, ON (preferred)

Work Location: In person
