Conditions of Employment:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must be willing to make occasional visits to work sites within the province by ground, waterways and air, which may require overnight stays.
- Must possess and maintain a full stage Manitoba class 5 Drivers Licence.
Qualifications:
**Essential**:
- Post-Secondary education in a field relating to construction project management including engineering, architecture, business administration. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience in project coordination/management in the field of construction.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to present and provide high level customer service to different stakeholders.
- Strong planning, research and analytical skills to identify and integrate relevant information to determine appropriate course of action/outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and under mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve, recognize critical issues and take appropriate proactive action.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines.
- Ability to investigate, interpret, analyze and resolve highly complex and highly specialized project matters.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Office Suite and project management software, including MS project.
**Duties**:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the delivery and implementation of assigned capital projects from inception through to project completion. As a member of the project management team, the Project Coordinator will manage the control, distribution, processing and maintenance of all contract documents including plans, tenders, work orders and change orders, detailed designs, etc. The Project Coordinator will assist in developing processes and systems to ensure documents are reviewed and processed quickly and meet Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure standards.
