This role is a great opportunity to use and expand your experience in processing payroll and benefits, and help ensure our processes and policies are executed smoothly.

The Payroll & Benefits Specialist Duties Include:

- Preparing and administering full-cycle semi-monthly processing of hourly and salaried US/Canadian employee's payroll using ADP Workforce;
- Assembling data from a wide variety of sources for analyzing purposes and ensuring compliance with mandated requirements, and/or monitoring program components;
- Administering appropriate deductions, ensuring remittances are submitted (ROEs, Garnishments, Workers Compensation), and providing support with reporting and auditing as required;
- Compiling and preparing payroll related reports and remittances after each pay run, and as needed, monthly, quarterly, and annually;
- Updating and maintaining accurate data in our payroll and benefits systems;
- Preparing and administering US/Canadian employee health benefits with various third-party providers;
- Managing all payroll related audits including but not limited to; 401K, Worker’s Compensation, and RRSP;
- Preparing payroll and benefit expense reconciliation and recording relevant journal entries in the accounting system;
- Communicating team inquiries in a timely and accurate manner;
- Continuously evaluating, suggesting and/or implementing improvements to payroll processes; and
- Other related duties, as required.

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 6 months experience completing full payroll cycle for US and Canadian employees;
- ADP Workforce experience is considered an asset;
- Minimum 6 months of experience administering 3rd party benefits programs for US and Canadian employees.
- Understanding of basic accounting functions;
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
