POSITION DESCRIPTION:
MyLearningCoach is looking for independent contractors to provide academic coaching and strategy instruction to students enrolled in high school and/or undergraduate post-secondary studies.
- Support undergraduate and/or high school students with various disabilities (learning disabilities, ADHD, mental health, etc) to utilize strategies and resources that mitigate barriers to learning
- Teach metacognitive learning strategies, study skills, executive function/organization, research and academic writing skills
- Coaching is completed remotely with flexible part-time hours depending on availability of strategist and student
- Competitive pay commensurate with qualifications and experience

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor of Education and/or Graduate degree in related field
- Experience delivering individual and small group instruction
- Competent in supporting neuro-diverse learners
- Strong pedagogical beliefs that align with a psycho-social model of disability
- High School or Post-secondary teaching experience preferred

**Job Types**: Casual, Freelance

**Salary**: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
