Lead Hand

**COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION**
- Starting**:$24.39/hour** ($22.54/hour base rate + $0.60/hour shift premium + $1.25/hour weekly attendance incentive)
- After 6 months**:$26.89/hour** ($25.04/hour base rate + $0.60/hour shift premium + $1.25/hour weekly attendance incentive)

**AVAILABLE SHIFTS**
- Monday - Friday 3:30 pm - 12:00 AM

**MAIN DUTIES**
- Helping the supervisor maintain day-to-day operations of the department.
- Managing minor issues that need to be addressed.

Assisting with jobs in Shipping / Freezer as required, such as:

- Pick orders.
- Palletize cases in the freezer/shipping and assembly area.
- Prepare billing of lading for shipping
- Loading and unloading trailers
- Receive shipments as well as raw materials and ensure temperature control.
- Perform and record temperature checks.
- Perform trailer checks; record and maintain data surrounding temp checks, inventory on trailers.
- Driving shunt truck (will train).
- Maintain good manufacturing practices as related to hygiene, allergen control, product handling and temperature control.
- Must work in other production areas outside of the Shipping / Freezer when required and assist with that area’s jobs.
- Maintaining good manufacturing practices as related to hygiene, allergen, handling, and temperature control.
- All other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Demonstrated recent satisfactory performance and attendance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse, shipping and receiving practices (to be tested).
- Satisfactory reading, writing and comprehension skills (to be tested).
- Ability to operate forklift or willingness to obtain certification (training to be provided).
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be results-oriented and possess a successful track record in an ever changing, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of food safety (to be tested).
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.

Afternoon Shift - 3:30 pm to 12:00 am
