**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Compounding Pharmacy Assistant needed to support pharmacy staff by assisting with the technical components of dispensing within the pharmacy and compounding lab

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Fill prescriptions accurately, efficiently, and safely
- Accurate data entry of patient and prescription information
- Follow proprietary formulations to compound prescriptions accurately, efficiently, and safely
- Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw material ingredients
- Complete facility and equipment cleaning, maintenance, and monitoring tasks diligently
- Have a strong command of pharmaceutical calculations required for compounding
- Assist with inventory management
- Engage with customers in a warm and positive manner
- Communicate effectively with other health care professionals
- Ensure work area is kept clean and well-organized
- Work together with retail staff and pharmacy staff in a collaborative, team environment centered on customer care
- Complete all duties within specified timelines by prioritizing tasks, communicating well with team members, and managing time efficiently

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience in retail pharmacy is an asset
- Experience with Fillware dispensary software an asset
- Experience in a compounding lab is an asset
- Proficient in math and basic science
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional, self-motivated individual with a team player attitude
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both team members and customers
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Flexible work hours (some evenings and weekends)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:
