**JOB SUMMARY**:
**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Monitor the Toronto Cash Allocation group (10 FTE) and coordinate assigned duties among staff;
- Coordinate month end activities ensuring all critical payment postings are complete by the end of day;
- Act as a liaison between staff and manager for the coordination of vacation requests, staff shift times and provide staff performance review recommendations as required;
- Share best practices with cash allocation staff on effective payment searching and remittance detail management for efficient posting to customer accounts;
- Responsible for managing Cash Allocation access to various 3rd party websites used to obtain remittance details for customer payments.
- Responsible for monitoring and resolving unidentified customer payments by working with both internal and external resources and refining cash allocation processes as required;
- Post and allocate daily cash receipts and adjustments within specified SLAs to ensure accurate maintenance of accounts receivable balances;
- Analyze customer account records to ensure proper allocations have occurred so that accounts receivable balances and general ledger accounting is accurate;
- Research and resolve payment disputes and posting discrepancies as required.
- Manage time-sensitive audit requests and see them to completion;
