Refer to the "How to apply" section if you require a disability-related accommodation. **What can I expect to do in this role?**:** Join our team as a maintenance professional with OCWA** In this role, you will provide program/project management services in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of all plannable maintenance work performed within water and wastewater facilities with a computerized maintenance management system. This position provides team leadership by planning and scheduling reviewing meetings and provides guidance and direction to staff, identifying and coordinating team functions and tasks. This position will require active engagement with varying stakeholders within OCWA, as well as the client. This position ensures improved work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through the planning and scheduling of labour, parts and materials, and equipment access. This position ensures compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations in order to protect the health of residents and for the protection of the environment. **How do I qualify?**: **Licensing / Certification Requirements**: - Valid Class G Driver's license. - Eligible for Certification under the Plant Engineering and Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC) as a Certified Asset Maintenance Professional, Maintenance Management Professional. or - Eligible for Certification under the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) as a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional or Maintenance and Reliability Manager. - Graduation from Mechanical or Electrical Technologist Program, Plant Engineering. or - Licensed in one of the industrial trades related to maintenance (industrial millwright, industrial electrician, instrumentation technologist) or - Equal combination of education and industry equivalent experience related to Planning and Scheduling. **Knowledge**: - Excellent knowledge and experience in the principles and practices necessary in the operation and maintenance of advanced water distribution facilities and water treatment. - Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety precautions including storage of chemicals, confined space entry, equipment lockout/tagging and personal protective equipment. - Considerable experience in the engineering maintenance field, including experience related to asset reliability in a complex process facility. - Demonstrated experience in asset planning and scheduling in complex water and wastewater facilities or other industrial facilities. - Proven experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) / Work Management Systems (WMS), MS Office Suite (MS Excel, MS Project), and other industry-related software (SCADA), to oversee asset management and maintain asset inventories. - Technical methods, processes and procedures to investigate root cause failures of assets, and perform risk assessments to mitigate future failures or non-compliance issues. - Applicable environmental legislation, regulations; industry standards and best practices; and relevant policies, procedures and guidelines to plan and deliver the asset protection program, on behalf of OCWA; and to ensure that regulatory considerations are incorporated into all phases. **Skills and Ability include**: - Planning and scheduling of maintenance activities for multidisciplinary teams in the facility / region. - Planning and organizational techniques to plan and direct concurrent projects interact with clients, service providers/stakeholders and to minimize delays in project delivery. - Leveraging technology solutions (i.e. computerized maintenance management systems, work management systems) to develop, implement, and maintain systems, practices, and procedures to track, analyze, and report on operational, re
