Sales Rep calling Clients in Corporate Business, Commercial, Municipal, Institutional & New Construction

This position will require knowledge of Professional Audio, Video, Lighting, Streaming Products & IT Networks.

You will be required to meet with clients, listen and ask questions to assess their needs and wants for the solutions you will be providing them. Offer ideas and insight, based on past install & product Knowledge that you have. Calling on suppliers reps and other internal staff when needed as well.

Once the site inspection is done, you will design, quote and present the solution and close the deal.

Once the deal is closed you will be required to work with suppliers and purchasing staff to place orders for all products needed. Then schedule additional contractors/install staff as needed for the proposed installation date.

Once install day comes, you will be on-site as the primary installers working solo or as part of a team, to make sure to achieve the results desired by the client as specified in the design you proposed. This is to be done on time or early and under or on budget based on what was quoted.

There is a base client list that you will be calling on and also many new clients that need to be contacted. As well there are many calls coming in from new clients, so there will be some reactive sales as well.

Previous experience with installing Audio Video Equipment is a must. As much experience with installing stage lighting, rigging, drapery, Streaming setups, LED Walls and more is a bonus and hold lots of weight in the decision process.

Knowing how to read and also create tender & CAD drawings is a bonus as well

Experience using software like Word, Excel, Outlook will be required. Licences and certifications for the System Processor Software’s we install is a bonus as well (Ex. BSS, Q-Sys)

Understanding various fasteners and ways to hang speakers, lighting fixtures, video panels & walls is a must. Also experience on pulling & terminating cable and installing and creating clean looking installation racks.

Tools are supplied, but a base knowledge of how to use them is required

Experience driving a Pickup Truck with Trailer is needed.
