PA Shop AV Solutions is one of Canada's Largest National Live Sound Production Touring Companies. Providing Audio, Video, Lighting & Staging for Events, Tours and Installations in Ontario and across Canada.

This position is for a AV installer and Live Event AV Tech. It will require knowledge of Professional Audio, Video, Lighting, Streaming Products & IT Networks.

You will be required to meet on site with the sales rep and clients to help with site inspections for the quoting process. You will also be required to prep, load, install, test and provide training to the client on all AV & Lighting products that are specified and sold to the various clients.

As a primary installer you may be working solo or as part of a team. A review of the system will be done with the sales rep / designer from our team with you, to make sure you achieve the results desired by the client as specified in the design.

Previous experience with installing Audio Video Equipment is a must. As much experience with installing stage lighting, rigging, drapery, Streaming setups, LED Walls and more is a bonus and hold lots of weight in the decision process.

Knowing how to read and also create tender & CAD drawings is a bonus as well

Experience using software like Word, Excel, Outlook will be required. Licences and certifications for the System Processor Software’s we install is a bonus as well (Ex. BSS, Q-Sys)

Understanding various fasteners and ways to hang speakers, lighting fixtures, video panels & walls is a must. Also experience on pulling & terminating cable and installing and creating clean looking installation racks.

Tools are supplied, but a base knowledge of how to use them is required

Experience driving a Pickup Truck with Trailer is needed.

As for the Live Sound portion of the role, our department here handles the Audio, Video, Lighting & Staging for the small to medium sized events. If you have Live AV Tech skills and are comfortable doing live shows, we would have you delivering, setting up, operating, teardown small to medium Live Shows that are across Ontario.
