Your Tasks
- For New Program
- Buyer to attend to APQP meetings
- Buyer is responsible to evaluate New Program Gates on time in Cim Database(CDB)
- Buyer is responsible to follow up CDB Raw material process
- Source Tool tryout and Homeline Steel
- Search for material when needed
- Ensure material meets specs along with Quality
- Place PO for tool tryout or Homeline
- Follow up until material until is delivered
- Support Raw Material sourcing when needed and
- Once sourcing process is completed, Buyer must:

- Secure Scheduling Agreement and
- Source List creation in SAP
- Secure PPAP issuance if applicable
- Secure new source is provided releases from Materials according to current material leadtime
- Update Scheduling Agreement before every quarter if applicable
- Transition from Direct to Resale. Buyer is responsible to lead and coordinate within the plant all activities related to the transition from direct to resale such as:

- New Resale PO Creation
- New supplier validation along with Qualityt
- Phase in - Phase out along with materials to avoid any obsolescence
- Jaggaer
- Buyer assists Materials and Quality to evaluate supplier through Jagger Portal
- Buyer must support DMN collection
- Periodical meeting with Quality to ensure Supplier DMN are closed on timely manner
- Propose cost reduction ideas from End to End Supply Chain
- Pursue its full implementation
- When ECR/ECN Supplier related may appear,
- Buyer must lead all the supplier related activities to completion and on time.
- Spot Buys
- In the event that an emergency material is needed, Buyer must search on spot market alternative and execute PO following Kirchhoff policies and procedures
- Register purchase on Spot PO file
- Buyer must pursue spot premium price is charged back either supplier or customer (if it is customer related, follow up has to be done with Sales)
- Handle and coordinate resolution of all plant purchasing Raw Material issues such as but not limited to:

- Materials Department with Supplier Delivery issues
- Quality Department with DMNs
- Provide Suppliers updated sales forecast information.
- Steel Resale Management
- Issue Scheduling Agreement to Resale supplier according customer contract
- Buyer must know Resale Contracts and Resales Rules per Customer
- End of Production
- Follow up End of Production new process
- Let suppliers know when EOP is coming at least 6 months before
- Together with Material Dept. exhaust all supplier pipeline to avoid obsolescence
- Buyer is responsible to face either Customer Audits or Third Party Auditor, per any requirement: ISO IATF, VDA, etc. with upper level Raw Material team.
- Buyer should be aware of current Raw Material and End-to-End market situation and advise all involve areas accordingly
- Understand, analyze and explain PPV (Purchase Price Variance) on a monthly basis
- Buyer will required to do Business Review Meetings with suppliers, Supplier Assessments and Sourcing activities as and when requested by their supervisor/manager
- Buyer will verify, track and report variances between Finance Reports and Procurement Savings Reports, if any related to their respective categories
- Complete Raw Material KPI’s on monthly basis
- Participate in every year Budget analysis.
- Eliminate duplicate POs
- Check prices are per latest revision
- Check Budget file vs actual parts for missing parts, including new projects.

Your Profile
- 3 - 5 years automotive experience with three (3) years’ experience with purchasing raw materials
- College graduate with job related courses or equivalent work related experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collect, analyze and synthesize information and determine best course of action
- Supply Chain knowledge
- Effective use of negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers
- Ability to work under pressure with mínimal supervision
- SAP & Advance Computer skills, e.g. Word, Excel
- Steel knowledge desirable
