**Job Purpose**:
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for executing and overseeing daily purchasing operations, managing the purchasing team, and implementing procurement strategies aligned with company objectives. This role serves as a bridge between strategic procurement initiatives and operational purchasing activities.

**Essential Job Functions / Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and mentor the Purchasing Agent team
- Execute purchasing strategies developed by Procurement Management
- Process and oversee complex purchase requests
- Review and approve purchase orders within designated authority limits
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Monitor purchase order accuracy and maintain purchasing records
- Assist in developing and implementing purchasing procedures
- Support the Procurement Manager in vendor evaluation and selection
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures
- Track and report key performance metrics for purchasing operations
- Collaborate with Finance department for budget tracking and payment processing
- Building maintaining healthy Supplier relationships

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 6-8 years of purchasing experience
- Previous team leadership experience
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in procurement software systems
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong organizational and time management abilities

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Professional certification in purchasing or supply chain management
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and procedures

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Team leadership and mentoring abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong vendor relationship management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in technical or IT-related purchasing
- This position bridges operational purchasing and strategic procurement, requiring both hands-on purchasing experience and leadership capabilities
