Website & IT Specialist

Overview

Key ResponsibilitiesWebsite Design & Maintenance
- Maintain, update, and optimize multiple brand websites (WordPress)
- Implement new pages, landing pages, and design adjustments based on business needs.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness, fast load times, and accessibility standards.
- Troubleshoot site errors, broken links, and plugin/theme conflicts.

SEO & Content Optimization
- Perform keyword research and implement on-page SEO strategies.
- Write and optimize website copy, service descriptions, and blog posts for search visibility.
- Track performance with Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools.
- Suggest and implement backlink strategies, local SEO enhancements, and content marketing improvements.

IT & Systems Support
- Maintain business tools, hosting accounts, and domain registrations.
- Ensure data backups, website security, and cybersecurity best practices are followed.
- Coordinate with third-party IT vendors as needed for complex issues.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in website design and management (WordPress )
- Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and analytics tools.
- Basic to intermediate IT troubleshooting skills (hardware/software/network).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize across multiple brands.
- Graphic design or coding (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) experience is a plus.

Work Style
- Self-motivated and organized, able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Comfortable balancing creative web design with technical IT problem-solving.
- Able to work independently but communicate clearly with leadership and team members.

Position Details
- **Type**: Part-time or contract to start, with potential to expand.
- **Location**: Remote/flexible, with occasional in-person support in Muskoka and surrounding areas.
- **Compensation**: Competitive hourly or project-based rate, based on experience.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
