**Job Description**:
We are looking for an outstanding individual who can lead the creation of our growing global design system. You’ll be establishing a design system, standards, and operational infrastructure for a distributed team. The role will see you developing a pragmatic and lean approach to establishing processes, quality, and designs that the existing team can build upon and develop. Much of the role includes communication, collaboration and leading the effort with our engineering teams, but this role will also suit a designer who wants to deliver change at scale.

Working closely with the design director you will design, build, and maintain a centralized design system empowering all our product designers, enabling them to build fast and innovate within their product verticals. This is not a simple design system for a marketing site, but one that needs to answer complex B2B data needs, including industry leading reporting and measurement. It will see you working closely with complex interactions, rapid development and constant iteration with designers and developers.

Importantly this is a chance to get involved at the beginning, craft processes, ways of working and ensure that we set our team up for success through quality, easy to use and scalable designs. This is a hands-on, detail orientated role.

Remote or in the office, we can work with whatever makes you perform. There is a great office and team in Vancouver that you’ll visit regularly.

**You will**:

- Evangelise the importance and value of a design system
- Think both tactically and strategically throughout the whole organisation
- Balance discipline and focus with pragmatism
- Lead and manage design and engineering teams in an agile/sprint manner
- Strong delivery management skills, from prioritisation to collaboration
- Highly proficient in a wide range of industry tools, such as Figma and Jira
- Be pro-active, imaginative, persuasive, and comfortable educating

**Qualifications**:

- Experience of managing a design system at scale
- Experience of managing, leading mixed discipline teams
- Significant experience as a Product Designer, Information Architect, Interaction Designer or User Experience Designer.
- BA/BS degree in Design (interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc.), Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
