**Salary Range**: $16.00- $18.00 (commensurate with experience)

Legendary Hospitality in the heart of Downtown Halifax are looking for a Front of House Supervisor to join our team at Salt Yard Social for the summer. We are looking for a passionate hard working individual to join and lead our front of house teams. Our core values are focused around the people we employ and the customers we serve and we are looking for like-minded individuals.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead all employees in a positive and energetic manner to help achieve legendary team spirit in the workplace
- Assist the Antojo team in creating and maintaining restaurant flow and organization
- Adhere to company standards and coordinate with the management team to help increase sales and minimize costs
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/provincial/local laws and ordinances
- Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food and beverage preparation and service
- Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
- Must uphold all Serve Right guidelines as well as all provincial laws outlined in the Nova Scotia Liquor Control Act.
- Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents
- Completes accident reports promptly in the event that a guest or employee is injured
- Upholding standards, product quality, cleanliness, atmosphere (temperature, music volume, lighting) and following assigned check lists
- Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food and beverage quality and service

**About you**
- 2+ years in the food and beverage industry an asset
- Experience supervising a team an asset
- Must be punctual, reliable, have ability to work as a team and independently and have a strong work ethic
- Advanced English language skills

**Work Environment**
- Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
- Must be able to work outside for a prolonged period of time (patio)
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
- Uniforms and PPE provided by LHG must be worn during work hours

**Work Authorization**
- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
