GIP has an opportunity available for a Fleet Equipment Administrator and Analyst at our North York Location, Toronto, ON. Reporting to the Director of Fleet the position will assist the Fleet team with various responsibilities including Fuel Card inventory maintenance, Tracking Operator hours etc
**What’s involved?**
- Ensure all equipment is receiving regular maintenance as per GPS data and inform shop if maintenance required
- Order and maintain fuel card inventory
- Assist with vehicle licensing
- Ensure all GPS solutions are operational and operating properly
- Track internal equipment utilization vs. equipment rentals
- Track basic equipment location, utilization, idle times and lifecycle costs
- Track equipment rentals and rental rates
- Track driver and operator hours vs. operational hours
- Track fuel consumption vs. burn rates
- Maintain up to date and accurate equipment hour / utilization reports and identify exceptions so they can be corrected
- Collaborate with local business unit dispatchers to ensure asset information reported to head office is correct including

- Ensure compliance with CVOR standards according to applicable provincial requirements
- Maintain and update asset lists in enterprise software system
- Collaborate with Managers to help facilitate fleet goals and fleet tracking requirements
**What’s required?**
- Post-secondary diploma or degree
- Strong administrative and clerical data entry background
- Basic understanding of heavy equipment and the construction industry
- Very strong proficiency with Excel to manipulate data and produce various reports as needed
- Familiarity with and ability to use GPS tracking solutions software
- Well-developed inter-personal communication skills is crucial in order to effectively communicate with people from various levels of the organization
- Effective analytical and problem solving skills
- Detail oriented
